Description For Camera Enabling Technologies Engineering Program Manager

Apple is seeking a Hardware Engineering Program Manager (EPM) to join the Camera Enabling Technologies team. The role involves driving design and development of early exploration platforms and technology building blocks that enable and influence product architecture decisions. The ideal candidate should have an engineering background and be able to lead a multi-functional engineering team through definition and Proof of Concept of new imaging technologies and architectures for Apple products.

Responsibilities include:

  • Driving project definition, resource management, milestones, and timelines
  • Ensuring tight inter-team coordination and communication for an internationally located organization
  • Grasping complex technical topics and abstracting key issues and risks for executive management
  • Proactive risk management and effective communication of status and issues
  • Ability to travel internationally to support technology center and vendor activities

The role requires exceptional program management and leadership skills, in-depth technical engineering knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple global teams and vendors. The ideal candidate should be skilled at handling accountability without control, have excellent communication and conflict resolution skills, and possess knowledge of imaging system design and/or camera key parts design and subcomponents.

Apple offers a comprehensive compensation package, including base pay within the range of $165,500 to $293,800, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
