As a Camera Firmware Engineer - ISP, you will be part of the Video Engineering organization's Camera Firmware team, where you'll play a crucial role in developing industry-leading camera systems.

You will be responsible for developing and optimizing camera firmware and embedded systems for Apple products, working on advanced image signal processing pipelines and machine learning algorithms. This role involves diagnosing performance issues and enhancing the reliability and efficiency of camera systems, while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing and optimizing machine learning algorithms for image/video enhancement
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting performance issues in embedded systems

Required qualifications:

  • BS degree with 10+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems
  • Expertise in multi-threading programming within RTOS environments

Preferred qualifications:

  • Deep knowledge of ARM-based SoCs
  • Extensive experience in image/video signal processing
  • Track record of system performance optimization
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Prior experience in camera systems
  • Passion for embedded software development

The role offers competitive compensation including base pay range of $175,800-$312,200, plus equity opportunities through stock programs, comprehensive benefits, and potential bonuses or relocation assistance.
