Camera SIPI Engineer

Apple is seeking a Camera SIPI Engineer to join their Camera Technologies group in San Diego. This role is crucial in designing and developing innovative camera hardware solutions for Apple products. The position combines electrical engineering expertise with camera technology development, focusing on signal and power integrity analysis.

The ideal candidate will work within the Camera Hardware Engineering group, which is responsible for the design and development of camera hardware across all Apple products. This includes RGB wide, ultra-wide, & tele rear cameras, "selfie" front cameras, rear depth sensing, and "face ID" front sensing modules. The team's goal is to deliver superior camera hardware that enables best-in-class user experiences.

Key responsibilities include modeling and analyzing camera sub-system SI/PI performance, collaborating with system teams on high-speed channel design, and developing new simulation methodologies. The role requires expertise in electrical engineering, particularly in high-speed signal and power delivery network fundamentals.
