As a CPU Processor Power Management Verification Engineer, you will be at the center of a chip design effort, collaborating with many teams and having a critical impact on getting functional products to millions of customers quickly. Your responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with architecture and RTL designers on verifying the functionality correctness of the Power Management and Clock Control logic
- Developing and executing test plans and schedules
- Creating tests in Assembly, Scripts, System Verilog, or vectors for simulation and emulation environments
- Root causing failures and proposing potential solutions
- Collaborating with the silicon bringup team on developing tests for emulation and FPGA environments
- Developing coverage monitors and analyzing coverage
- Creating checkers or Verilog/System Verilog-based transactors to verify the design
- Writing assertions and applying formal verification
This role requires a minimum of a BS degree and 10+ years of relevant industry experience. You should have experience in digital logic, micro-processor architecture, or power management architecture, as well as digital design verification knowledge. Programming skills in Perl or Python are essential.
Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree, in-depth knowledge of power management architecture, experience with advanced verification techniques, and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, creating and following detailed work schedules.

- Experience with design verification environments like random constraint verification or UVM base testbenches
- Programming skills in Perl or Python
