Data Engineer- Maps

Apple Maps Analytics Platform team is seeking a Data Engineer to help take their analytics platform to the next level. You'll work with unique and interesting datasets including geospatial data, GPS probe data, search logs, real-time traffic data, and A/B experiments data.

You will be contributing to our large-scale data platform and providing end-to-end analytics solutions to transform rich data at Apple scale into actionable insights. Your work will help build extensible processing and storage solutions that deliver data products for the entire Apple Maps ecosystem. The insights from your data products directly impact millions of Apple customers worldwide.

The ideal candidate has experience implementing extendable frameworks on top of Spark and understands the inner workings of Spark execution and cloud computing. You'll partner closely with Data Scientists, Program Managers and Product Analysts to measure and improve Apple Maps user experience.

This role offers competitive compensation with a base pay range of $143,100 to $264,200, plus additional benefits including stock options, comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, educational reimbursement, and various discounted products and services.
