Display Algorithm Engineer

Apple is seeking a Display Algorithm Engineer to lead the development of advanced display technologies. This role focuses on creating innovative display algorithms and machine learning models to optimize and enhance Apple's display products across all platforms. The ideal candidate is passionate about analyzing engineering problems using data and delivering algorithms for optimal performance.

As a member of the Display Algorithm team, you will:

• Collaborate with teams across Apple to build state-of-the-art display products
• Work on algorithms based on machine learning models and large-scale data analysis
• Explore early in a product's lifecycle to identify challenges and potential solutions
• Investigate up-to-date Display technologies and generate new approaches for calibration and improving display optical performances
• Develop identification/classification models and image processing for defect inspection
• Collaborate with diverse teams from display module, manufacturing, test, and system teams
• Serve as a focal point between Display Module Team and AIML team, delivering ML models to understand, optimize, and solve display-related problems
• Analyze data, capture appropriate datasets, and design machine learning experiments
