Description For Financial Analyst, Retail Engineering

At Apple, we're seeking a Financial Analyst for our Retail Engineering Finance organization who will play a crucial role in providing sound financial governance and oversight across Engineering teams. This position involves managing capital expenditures portfolio, executing P2P processes, and collaborating with Engineering teams for resource allocation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial health across the organization and driving initiatives, building trust and partnerships, and demonstrating continuous learning and innovation. You'll be working with key Engineering, Retail Business Unit, and IS&T Finance stakeholders to ensure Apple Retail implements right-sized projects. Responsibilities For Financial Analyst, Retail Engineering

  • Financial ownership and operations of a capital expenditures portfolio including execution of project funding, cash flow and budget management, and forecasting
  • Leadership and execution of the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process through milestone planning, vendor management, purchase requisition creation, and invoice approval oversight
  • Collaborating with Engineering teams to analyze resource activities, ensure accurate allocation, and support capacity planning
  • Conduct critical financial processes and analyses, such as the Fixed Asset Audit, along with other ad hoc projects
  • Driving efficiencies and deeper analyses of current processes and activities

Requirements For Financial Analyst, Retail Engineering

  • Proven experience in a high performance organization, performing financial processes, reporting, and forecasting/modeling
  • Knowledge in Procure-to-Pay processes
  • B.A./B.S. or higher in Finance, Accounting, or relevant field
