Hardware Systems Design Engineer - Power Modeling

Apple is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hardware Systems Design Engineer specializing in Power Modeling to join their world-class iPhone engineering team. This role is crucial in developing system power consumption and usage models, with a significant impact on overall iPhone design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and publish system-level power estimates for various customer usage scenarios
• Drive battery life and thermal design discussions
• Own system-level power validation
• Analyze next-generation hardware with multi-functional teams across Apple
• Perform hands-on lab investigations and debug power-related issues
• Identify power-saving opportunities
• Continuously improve power modeling and validation methodologies throughout the iPhone development cycle

The position involves working on iPhone product development from concept through design phases to post-product ramp. You'll be at the center of creating innovative and influential products, collaborating with a creative and passionate team.

This role may require some international travel.
