Human Factors Design Engineer/ CAD Simulation Engineer

Apple is seeking a CAD Simulation Engineer to join their human factors design team in Austin, Texas. This role combines engineering expertise with human-centered design, focusing on 3D data analysis and modeling for hardware product development.

As a CAD Simulation Engineer, you'll work at the intersection of human factors and computational modeling, using your expertise in 3D data analysis, statistical methods, and programming to improve Apple's hardware products. You'll collaborate with designers, engineers, and researchers to analyze complex 3D data and create meaningful insights that influence product decisions.

The role requires strong technical skills in programming and 3D CAD, combined with an understanding of human factors and ergonomics. You'll be responsible for processing and analyzing 3D data, developing computational models for human-device interaction, and creating visualizations that communicate findings effectively to stakeholders across the organization.
