We're seeking an experienced Instrument Systems Design Engineer to join our Product Integrity Group in Boulder, Colorado. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, developing and deploying calibration and test instrumentation systems for Apple's world-class products. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams throughout the New Product Introduction (NPI) phase to ensure the success of current and future Apple products.
Your responsibilities will include architecting instrumentation systems, working with mechanical engineering teams on fixtures and automation, developing and optimizing automation software, and implementing advanced audio processing algorithms. You'll analyze large datasets to drive engineering solutions and perform detailed failure analysis from system to component level.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise in electro-mechanical systems, programming capabilities in C/C++ and Python, and knowledge of digital signal processing. You should have experience working in high-volume consumer electronics manufacturing and excellent problem-solving abilities.
