iOS Engineer - Wallet

As an iOS Engineer on the Wallet team, you will:

• Collaborate on new insights and solutions
• Build user interfaces
• Write background processing and networking code
• Develop frameworks used by other Apple teams and third-party developers
• Maintain and improve existing features
• Bring life to new and innovative ideas
• Focus on delivering the best possible application performance
• Work closely with internal partners (iOS, macOS, watchOS Framework Engineering Teams, Human Interface Designers, Privacy Engineering team, Server Engineering team)
• Collaborate directly with external partners on new features

The Wallet team is positioned at the axis of multiple teams, offering opportunities to code while actively participating in shaping the user experience and overall product. You'll be part of building an extraordinary team, working on innovative technologies to further improve creative output.

Key projects include:

• Transit: Allowing users worldwide to ride public transit with just a tap in Express Mode
• Access: Making the phone the key to the world (Home Key, Hotel Key, Car Key, Disney Magic Mobile, Corporate Badges)
• Identity: Supporting US driver's licenses for travel at select airports and proving age and identity within apps
• Provisioning: Creating seamless Add to Wallet experiences for convenient credential management across devices
