Machine Learning Algorithm Engineer

Apple's Sensing, Data, and Interaction Software team is seeking a Machine Learning Algorithm Engineer to join their mission of delivering differentiating technologies for Human Interface Devices (HID) and Health Sensing software products. The ideal candidate will be a Signal Processing and Machine Learning expert with strong sensing technologies fundamentals and programming skills.

The role involves:

• Developing, optimizing, and implementing sensing algorithms and technologies
• Applying expertise in signal processing, machine learning, linear algebra, and statistics
• Optimizing algorithms for on-device implementation
• Collaborating with passionate and inspiring peers to create extraordinary products and services
• Working on innovative solutions to improve Apple's customer experience

Key qualifications include:

• Strong computer science fundamentals with programming skills in C, C++, and Python
• Experience in developing customer-facing sensing technologies (preferred)
• Knowledge of machine learning and neural network frameworks, including model training and deployment
• Data modeling, augmentation, management, and handling skills

The position offers a competitive base pay range of $143,100 to $264,200, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
