Responsibilities For Manufacturing Quality Engineer, Battery

  • Manage IQC, IPQC, OQC and ORT
  • Drive quality readiness at the factory for development builds and mass production
  • Drive quality issues resolution in development builds
  • Collaborate with teams to set quality control stations on production line
  • Conduct periodic reviews of Field/Factory Quality Data with OEM partners
  • Prepare OK to Ship documentation for new product launch
  • Create risk assessment and implement plans for new products
  • Work with product design team on DFM and conduct tolerance analysis
  • Develop and drive execution of module reliability testing plan
  • Support/Attend new product development builds

Requirements For Manufacturing Quality Engineer, Battery

  • 5+ years experience in either Manufacturing or the development of consumer electronics
  • Experience in metrology and standard manufacturing quality control practices
  • Project management experience and understanding of problem solving tools
  • Bachelors in Chemical/Mechanical/ECE Engineering (MS/PhD preferred)
  • Experience in electro-mechanical products in high volume manufacturing
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of reliability methods and quality sampling methodologies
