NPI Operations Program Manager

The New Product Introduction Operations Program Manager (NPI OPM) at Apple is responsible for launching products on time, with high quality and maximum customer availability. This role is pivotal to the dynamic development and launch of Apple's products. The ideal candidate is a leader and facilitator who is dynamic, driven, organized, and detail-oriented. They should excel in program/project management, communicate effectively at all levels, thrive in an ambiguous environment, and be adept at facilitating actions and resolving conflicts.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) operations team in planning and implementing development builds and new product ramps.
• Driving ramp readiness with engineering, operations, and OEM teams.
• Planning capacity and leading factory equipment budget.
• Handling component readiness to ensure part availability, quality, and cost.
• Communicating requirements and schedules to facilitate technical readiness with supply chain teams.
• Influencing product manufacturability, testability, and supply chain responsiveness to pursue low cost and flexibility while stewarding quality.
• Leading all communications throughout the organization, raising key issues, and presenting options for resolution to executive teams.

The role requires experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or product development, strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to present to management. Technical expertise and prior OEM management experience are essential. The position involves travel up to 30-35% of the time.
