As a Silicon Media IP Platform Engineering Program Manager within the Hardware Technology Team, you will support Roadmap, Architecture, Design Execution, Validation, Prototyping and Power/Performance optimization efforts across Media IPs at Apple. The impact of this highly visible role spans across all Apple product lines. You will be influencing key technologies including Video codecs, Camera Processing, Display, Neural Engines and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with cross-functional teams within HWTech organization including Platform Architecture, Design and Verification, Silicon Validation to enable high quality development and delivery of Apple Media IPs.
- Collaborate with Software, Systems, Architecture, Power and Performance, FPGA prototyping, SoC integration teams to enable IP integration in time for SoC tapeout.
- Quickly adapt to dynamic SoC execution lifecycles and successfully manage requirements and changes.
- Extensive planning, prioritizing and driving engineering tasks to meet demanding product launch schedules.
- Periodic clear and concise communication of IP status to Apple executives with focused tracking, organizing and reporting of program risks, status and options for resolution.
- In-depth understanding of technical issues associated with Media IP blocks and leading debug to enable resolution of issues by bringing together key cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities For Silicon Media / Pixel IP Engineering Program Manager
- Support Roadmap, Architecture, Design Execution, Validation, Prototyping and Power/Performance optimization efforts across Media IPs at Apple
- Work with cross-functional teams within HWTech organization
- Collaborate with Software, Systems, Architecture, Power and Performance, FPGA prototyping, SoC integration teams
- Manage dynamic SoC execution lifecycles and requirements changes
- Plan, prioritize and drive engineering tasks to meet product launch schedules
- Communicate IP status to Apple executives, tracking and reporting program risks and options for resolution
- Lead debug efforts to resolve issues related to Media IP blocks
Requirements For Silicon Media / Pixel IP Engineering Program Manager
- BS in Engineering and 10+ years relevant industry experience
- Prior Silicon industry experience
- Prior Design Management or Engineering Program Management experience
- Self-motivated and dedicated with proven creative and critical thinking capabilities
- Phenomenal leadership with a collaborative mindset
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience working in a dynamic multi-disciplined engineering environment, strong at multi-tasking
- Ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience
