Apple's Biophotonics team is seeking a talented process integration engineer for their expanding silicon photonics group. Responsibilities For Silicon Photonics Process Integration Engineer

  • Exploration and development of advanced packaging processes
  • 2.5D and/or 3D integration of photonic integrated circuits
  • Drive subassembly-level reliability assessments of prototypes
  • Work with multidisciplinary team on silicon photonics integrated circuits

Requirements For Silicon Photonics Process Integration Engineer

  • MS in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Optical Engineering with a background in semiconductor processing/fabrication
  • Proficiency in process Design of Experiments (DOE) and Physical Failure Analysis (PFA)
  • Knowledge of statistical data analysis, with expertise in using relevant tools (e.g., JMP)
