Sr. Software Engineer/RPA Developer

Apple's Manufacturing Systems & Infrastructure (MSI) team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer/RPA Developer to join their team. This role involves leading the design, build, and configuration of applications using automation tools to meet complex business process requirements. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) development, particularly with Automation Anywhere 360.

Key responsibilities include:

• Handling advanced code requirements for automation development
• Coordinating with application developers and database administrators on API and database access requirements
• Conducting unit and integration testing for RPA solutions
• Participating in code reviews and contributing to coding standards
• Developing and maintaining documentation for RPA solutions
• Generating reports on RPA initiative performance and suggesting improvements
• Providing technical expertise on tools in use
• Working with the latest technologies and leading POCs to demonstrate new ideas

This role offers the opportunity to work on highly visible data projects within Apple's Operations organization, contributing to the gathering, consolidation, and tracking of manufacturing data for Apple's products worldwide.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 7+ years of hands-on RPA development experience with Automation Anywhere 360
• A BS in Computer Science, engineering, or a related field
• Experience with Automation Anywhere control room activities
• Strong skills in integrating RPA with external applications using APIs
• Experience in deploying, maintaining, monitoring, and debugging RPA automations
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL query development
• Strong software development, problem-solving, and debugging skills
• Experience with public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP) and private data centers
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Additional preferred qualifications include experience with enterprise systems like SAP and Snowflake, data reporting and visualization tools, and Automation Anywhere RPA Developer certifications.
