Description For UI Frameworks Software Engineer, Developer Relations

Developer Relations at Apple is seeking a passionate UI Frameworks Software Engineer to join their team as the main technical contact for Apple's worldwide community of software developers. This role combines technical expertise in Swift, Objective-C, and Apple's UI frameworks with a focus on developer support and education.

The position involves working directly with developers to solve complex engineering challenges, creating comprehensive documentation and sample code, and ensuring third-party applications meet Apple's high quality standards. You'll be instrumental in improving the Apple developer experience across all platforms (iOS, macOS, visionOS, watchOS, and tvOS).

As a UI Frameworks Engineer in Developer Relations, you'll leverage your extensive experience in native app development and debugging, particularly with technologies like SwiftUI, UIKit, AppKit, and Core Animation. Your role will include answering technical questions, participating in WWDC Labs and Tech Talks, and collaborating with engineering teams across Apple to enhance APIs and developer tools.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of native app development experience, strong debugging skills, and a deep understanding of Apple's platforms and developer workflows. You should be passionate about mentoring others, have excellent communication skills, and maintain an active engagement with the Apple developer community.
