Description For 3D Reconstruction Engineer

Applied Intuition, a leading vehicle intelligence company, is seeking a 3D Reconstruction Engineer to join their team in Mountain View, CA. This role sits at the intersection of machine learning and autonomous vehicle development, focusing on creating cutting-edge neural simulation products.

The position offers an opportunity to work with the latest advancements in learning-based reconstruction methods and directly impact the development of autonomous vehicles. You'll be joining a company that serves 18 of the top 20 global automakers and is at the forefront of vehicle intelligence technology.

As a 3D Reconstruction Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing first-of-its-class simulation products, working with cutting-edge technologies like gaussian splats and NeRFs, and implementing solutions based on direct customer feedback. The role requires expertise in computer vision, machine learning, and programming, with opportunities to push the boundaries of neural reconstruction capabilities.

The company offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $200,000 to $250,000 annually, plus equity and comprehensive benefits. While the position requires in-office presence 5 days a week in Mountain View, the company maintains some flexibility for work-life balance.

  • Programming experience in Python, C++, or CUDA
