Production Operations Engineer

Arc Boat Company is revolutionizing the marine industry by building electric water sport boats. Our vision is to electrify all waterborne vessels, starting with superior electric alternatives to traditional gas boats. We're using modern, aerospace- and automotive-inspired techniques to create the next generation of watercraft, integrating hulls, batteries, cooling systems, firmware, and software.

As a Production Operations Engineer, you'll be a crucial part of our Production team, working from our manufacturing facility in Los Angeles. This role requires adaptability in a fast-moving, dynamic startup environment. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing production line layouts, leading capital expenditure projects, developing software tools for analysis, creating process flow models, leading system-level process improvements, and collaborating across departments.

We're seeking candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a STEM-related field, 5+ years of relevant experience, and excellent problem-solving skills. You should be comfortable with an intense but sustainable pace and have strong communication skills. Bonus qualifications include exposure to multiple engineering disciplines, proficiency in data analysis, and experience with lean production principles.
