ArenaNet, the developer of the award-winning Guild Wars game series, is seeking a Senior Cinematics Engineer for an unannounced project. This role is perfect for an experienced C++ developer who has worked on cinematics run time systems and tools for shipped games. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with Unreal Engine's Sequencer tool and understand the common challenges of developing runtime systems to support cinematics in games.
As a Senior Cinematics Engineer, you'll work across multiple teams, including art, audio, narrative, and gameplay, to create and enhance runtime systems, build out pipelines, and provide tools customizations for all forms of cinematics. This role requires strong listening and communication skills, as you'll need to understand design goals and creatively synthesize solutions based on your experience and the engine's capabilities.
