Staff Site Reliability Engineer

Assured is on a mission to modernize insurance. Claims processing (i.e. should we pay this claim?), while often overlooked, is the foundation of the entire industry. It's currently highly manual, involving phone calls, faxes, and gut instinct—costing tens of billions of dollars a year. We can do better.

At Assured, we provide large insurers with the software solutions they need to win in a modern, technology-driven world. From self-service claim filing software to backend fraud detection, we're the engine that powers claims processing for some of the largest insurers in the world.

We are looking for a Staff Site Reliability Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have worked in a start-up environment and wants to help us build efficient, reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure and code. You will bring your expertise and understanding in deploying and automating the delivery of modern SaaS platforms at scale.

You will... 🌎 Provision infrastructure and tooling required to deliver the Assured platform, from scaling existing products to launching novel infrastructure to support entirely new products and initiatives 👩‍💻 Create automated tooling to configure and maintain our platform and services with an eye for consistency and repeatability 👷 Build sustainable methods for monitoring, managing, and scaling our platforms and services 👀 Work with various teams to improve observability in different product areas 🔒 Identify, recommend, and implement strategies for complying with security regulations and industry best-practices 📟 Handle incident support and on call rotation 🤝 Lead, mentor, and learn from other engineers on our growing team
