Senior Software Engineer - Infrastructure

Astronomer, the company behind the industry-leading Astro DataOps platform powered by Apache Airflow®, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for their Infrastructure team in Hyderabad. This role focuses on enhancing the scalability, performance, and reliability of Astronomer Software, their flagship Enterprise product.

The position requires deep expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Openshift). You'll work on streamlining infrastructure for on-premise installations while collaborating with cross-functional teams including CRE, Platform, and QA. Security and compliance are key priorities, as you'll implement robust measures to protect infrastructure and customer data.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of experience with Kubernetes and automation/scripting, strong knowledge of cloud providers, and expertise in CI/CD systems. You'll be responsible for platform health, deployment automation, monitoring, and participating in customer support through on-call rotations.
