Senior Software Engineer - Infrastructure

Astronomer, the company behind Astro - the industry-leading unified DataOps platform powered by Apache Airflow®, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for their Infrastructure team. This role focuses on enhancing the scalability, performance, and reliability of Astronomer Software, their flagship Enterprise product. The position requires deep expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Openshift).

The ideal candidate will work on streamlining infrastructure for on-premise installations while collaborating with cross-functional teams including CRE, Platform, and QA. They will be responsible for implementing security measures, utilizing monitoring tools like ELK and Prometheus, and optimizing system performance for customer installations.
