Athelas + Commure is seeking a Technical Support Engineer II to join their Technical Support Team. This role involves providing technical and operational support for the PatientKeeper product line, focusing on customer satisfaction and efficient support operations. The position is full-time and remote, working with PatientKeeper's clients to troubleshoot and resolve technical and usage issues on both the frontend and backend of the application.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing technical support via phone, email, and remote sessions
- Troubleshooting and resolving application issues
- Documenting and maintaining support cases in Salesforce
- Developing and maintaining support documentation
- Collaborating with clients to understand workflows and provide guidance
- Working with Engineering and Product teams to resolve software defects
- Assisting with system upgrades and optimizations
- Conducting training sessions
- Participating in on-call rotations for 24/7 support
The ideal candidate should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 1-3 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in healthcare
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with SQL and database management
- Understanding of healthcare workflows and clinical documentation processes
- Knowledge of web technologies and healthcare data exchange standards (preferred)
