Atlan is seeking a Strategic Sales Engineer for the North East region to join their growing GTM team. This role combines technical expertise with customer-facing responsibilities, requiring someone passionate about solving data-related problems. The position demands a minimum of 7 years of experience in Sales Engineering or Technical Data Practice, with strong proficiency in SQL, RestAPIs, and programming languages like Python, Java, or Go.

The ideal candidate will serve as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, working closely with CDOs, Data Platform leaders, data engineers, and analysts. They will be responsible for understanding customer problems, providing customized solutions, and acting as a trusted advisor in building modern data platforms.

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders from CDOs and Data Platform leaders to data engineers and analysts

  • Evangelize Atlan and broader principles of an agile data culture
  • Set up customised demo flows, run trials and POCs, and office hours
  • Gather customer feedback and work with product team to incorporate feedback into product roadmap
