Senior Software Engineer

In this role, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing scalable solutions that handle billions in annual payment volume. You'll work with a modern tech stack including React, Ruby, and PostgreSQL, building everything from user-facing experiences to backend services and APIs. The position requires a strategic mindset to balance business priorities with technical excellence, ensuring both rapid development and robust architecture.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of experience in B2B or B2C SaaS products, with a particular advantage if you've worked in FinTech, payments, or marketplaces. You'll join a team of accomplished engineers from leading tech companies like Google, Uber, Meta, Shopify, and Stripe, working in a high-ownership environment that values initiative and creative problem-solving.

This hybrid role requires 4 days per week in office (Monday-Thursday) at one of our locations in San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles, Montreal, Vancouver, or Toronto. You'll be compensated competitively with a salary range of $150K-$225K, plus significant equity ($400K-$600K) and bonus potential, reflecting the impact and importance of this position in shaping the future of transportation payments infrastructure.
