Lead Software Engineer

Aura, founded in 2017, is the leading Amazon repricing and analytics platform, helping Amazon third-party sellers maintain competitive pricing. With over 2,000 paying users and $2.5MM in annual recurring revenue, Aura is now scaling to serve 10,000 Amazon sellers.

As the Lead Software Engineer, you'll drive product and engineering efforts to elevate the platform. This role requires a results-driven fullstack engineer with high ownership over the entire platform. You'll work directly with founders and the product designer to shape the next phase of the product, including a new user interface and modernized tech stack.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Owning Aura's backend architecture (AWS, Go) and codebase
2. Collaborating with the product designer on the design system and UI library
3. Becoming an expert in Amazon's Selling Partner API
4. Building internal tools for customer support
5. Managing the product roadmap and engineering efforts
6. Identifying high-ROI engineering projects
7. Scaling the engineering and product team

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of fullstack engineering experience, proficiency in TypeScript (React) and Go, and experience with AWS. You should be comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment and willing to relocate to Boston for a hybrid work arrangement (4 days in-office).
