Description For Senior Technical Support Engineer

Auror is seeking a Senior Technical Support Engineer to join their growing team in London. This internal-facing role will be the first Support Engineer in the UK team, playing a key role in uplifting the team's product knowledge and confidence. The role involves leading investigations on complex technical issues, partnering with customer success teams, and collaborating with subject matter experts and engineering teams to resolve problems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to implement code or data fixes. This position requires a bias for action and strong cross-functional communication skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with customer success teams on technical queries
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues
  • Creating and maintaining detailed documentation
  • Becoming a product expert and resource for the UK customer success team
  • Collaborating with global Technical Support Engineering team and cross-functional teams
  • Taking ownership of support requests and providing clear communication
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of support workflows

The role is based in London with a hybrid flexible working model, spending 3-4 days in the office and 1-2 days remotely. This position reports to Hannah Sakaluk, the Global Technical Support Engineering Lead.

Requirements For Senior Technical Support Engineer

JavaScript
  • Ideally 3+ years experience in Technical Support roles within SaaS organizations
  • Experience in managing cases throughout the entire support lifecycle
  • Ability to learn new software platforms quickly and support internal teams
  • Experience working with HTTP APIs
  • Experience working with databases and writing simple SQL queries
  • Basic programming skills (preferably Javascript or C#)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience writing and creating technical documentation
  • Continuous improvement mindset
