Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Bank of America is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join their team in multiple locations across the United States. This role is crucial in maintaining and improving the reliability of cloud-based identity systems within one of the world's largest financial institutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working closely with Cloud Engineering and development teams to create new features, stabilize production systems, and introduce efficiencies in maintaining critical Cloud-provided Identity systems. You'll use automation tools to monitor and observe reliability in production environments, troubleshoot complex problems, and implement solutions to resolve them.

This role requires deep expertise in AWS and Azure Cloud environments, with specific knowledge about Identity Services. You'll be working in a collaborative environment where you'll serve as a technical consultant, develop automation solutions, and contribute to the technology strategy for end-to-end operations solutions.

Key aspects of the role include creating and maintaining SRE processes, providing documentation and support procedures, mentoring team members, and participating in incident response and problem management. The position offers exposure to various technologies including Python, Java, cloud platforms, and modern DevOps practices.
