Blockchain Security Engineer

Base.org, an innovative blockchain platform with the ambitious goal of onboarding a million developers and a billion users to the blockchain ecosystem, is seeking a Blockchain Security Engineer to join their Decentralized Financial Security Team. This role sits at the intersection of blockchain technology and security, working to protect millions of customers and billions in digital assets.

As a Blockchain Security Engineer, you'll be integral to designing and securing products from the ground up. Your responsibilities will include conducting secure design reviews, threat modeling, vendor assessments, and code reviews for products that will serve millions of users. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology while providing leadership visibility into current risk postures.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in Computer Science, with expertise in Application Security and cryptography. You'll need at least 2 years of experience in threat modeling and design reviews, along with excellent communication skills to translate complex security concepts for various stakeholders. Experience with languages like Go, Ruby, or Python is a plus, as is knowledge of Blockchain, Exchange, or Decentralized Exchange Security.
