As an API Trading Technical Support lead, you'll be responsible for investigating and resolving technical questions related to API programming issues for global institutions such as HFTs and algo/quant funds. This position requires close collaboration with the VIP Account team, Customer Support, internal Dev/Infra teams, and other stakeholders. You'll lead a team of 5-8 members across the globe, making previous management experience highly valuable.
Key responsibilities include handling urgent escalations from high-profile institutional customers, participating in product development and roadmap planning, and continuously improving service quality and efficiency. You'll need to be flexible, able to prioritize multiple incidents in a fast-paced environment, and capable of providing coaching and training to team members.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in similar roles, a strong background in trading or developing trading programs, and excellent communication skills in English (bilingual fluency in English and Mandarin is preferred). Technical requirements include 3+ years of experience with scripting, cloud infrastructure (AWS), and web/app-related project support.

- Handle urgent escalation from high profile institution customers for API trading related issues
- Collaborate with stakeholders including customers, product managers, developers, and management team
- Participate in iteration, release, and roadmap planning
- Prioritize multiple incidents and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Continuously improve service quality and efficiency
- Provide coaching, training, and documentation of customer support processes

Requirements For API Trading Technical Support (Senior or Lead Engineer)
- 10+ years of experience in similar roles (e.g., Technical Support Engineer, SL3 Engineer, Application Owner)
- Experience in trading or developing trading programs for traditional financial instruments or cryptocurrencies
- 3+ years management experience (strongly preferred)
- Fluency in English (both spoken and written), bilingual in English and Mandarin preferred
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- 3+ years of scripting or programming skills
- 3+ years Cloud Infra (AWS) experience
- 3+ years Web or App related project support experience
- Understanding of software development methodologies and coding standards
- Experience with software application debugging and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with technical support processes and escalation management
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Math, or related scientific disciplines
