Bloomreach, the world's #1 Commerce Experience Cloud, is seeking a Senior Front End Engineer to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a large-scale, fast-evolving app using Angular & TypeScript. The ideal candidate will have advanced skills in TypeScript (or JavaScript with a willingness to switch), Angular (or a similar component-based framework), and experience with software design & architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new features and maintain existing ones in the codebase
- Prototype new features as POCs
- Work on projects in 6-week cycles
- Collaborate with a diverse team of 13 people
- Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing
Tech Stack:
- TypeScript and JavaScript
- Angular
- SCSS/CSS
- NodeJS
- RxJS
- Karma/Jasmine/Cypress
- GIT
The role offers exciting challenges such as micro frontend research, optimizing build performance, improving change detection, data visualization, and extending the UI library.

Responsibilities For Senior Front End Engineer
- Design and develop new features
- Maintain existing features in the underlying codebase

- Provide L3 support to client-facing colleagues
- Make improvements to the product through initiatives like 'Happy consultants'
Requirements For Senior Front End Engineer
- Advanced TypeScript (or JavaScript with a strong will to switch to TypeScript)
- Advanced Angular (or similar component-based framework with a strong will to switch to Angular)
- Experience with software design & architecture
- Ability to work effectively in project teams
- Clear communication skills
- A 'can-do' attitude
- Experience with developing bigger projects
- Intermediate skill with SCSS / CSS
