Data Analytics Engineer

BlueCargo is a fast-growing, VC-backed technology company transforming the logistics and supply chain industry. As the leader in container visibility and freight audit automation, our platform integrates fragmented data from terminals, carriers, and ports to deliver a single, intelligent interface that empowers shippers and logistics providers to make better, faster decisions.

We're seeking a Data Analytics Engineer to work at the intersection of data engineering and analytics, transforming raw data into actionable insights. You'll be joining a company that has raised Series A funding in 2022, has strong product-market fit, and is trusted by hundreds of active customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines to integrate data from various sources
• Develop and maintain dashboards for monitoring KPIs and business metrics
• Perform ad-hoc data analysis and support cross-functional teams
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Optimize data processes for efficiency and scalability

Tech Stack:

• Backend: Python/Django
• Frontend: JavaScript
• Infrastructure: AWS (Lambda, RDS, S3), CircleCI
• Database: PostgreSQL

You'll be working with a team of 12 engineers + 5 in product, in a hybrid setting from our HQ in Culver City, Los Angeles. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of logistics technology while working alongside a mission-driven founding team, including two female YC alumni.
