Responsibilities For Senior Security Engineer
- Maintain threat models and security-related system documentation
- Coordinate penetration testing and drive resolution of identified issues
- Perform white-box security testing of security-critical features
- Participate in design process for application features and AWS infrastructure
- Participate in design and implementation of controls for regulatory compliance
- Define internal best practices for secure development and data handling
- Identify SIEM tooling needs and select suitable solutions
- Maintain security incident response plan and lead incident response
- Establish and maintain monitoring for endpoints and application systems
- Share knowledge with other engineering roles on security topics
Requirements For Senior Security Engineer
- Five or more years experience in security engineering or related role
- Proven experience with network security, incident response, threat modeling, and identity/access management
- Ability to identify and lead security initiatives without direct oversight
- Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences in remote environment
