Braven, a transformative national nonprofit, is seeking a Salesforce Developer to join their mission of preparing promising young people for successful careers post-college. This role is crucial to their ambitious goal of serving 80,000-100,000 Fellows over the next decade.

The position offers a hybrid work environment in Atlanta, Chicago, or Newark, with competitive compensation ranging from $105,000 to $152,000 depending on location and experience. As a Salesforce Developer, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing customized solutions that drive organizational impact, working directly with the Salesforce Architect on the Systems team.

Key responsibilities include developing Apex classes, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce pages, managing DevOps improvements, and ensuring seamless integration with other systems. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of Salesforce experience, Platform Developer I certification, and strong expertise in Salesforce development environments.

The role combines technical excellence with mission-driven work, offering the opportunity to directly impact educational equity. Responsibilities For Salesforce Developer

  • Collaborate with Salesforce Solution Engineers, Architects, and cross-functional teams to define technical requirements
  • Manage System team internal projects, including DevOps improvements, automation audit, and data deduplication
  • Develop customized Salesforce solutions, including Apex classes, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce pages
  • Deploy scalable Salesforce applications using custom objects, flow, triggers, and integrations
  • Write, optimize, and maintain clean, efficient code
  • Test and debug solutions
  • Create user-friendly documentation and training materials
  • Drive continuous improvement of the Salesforce platform

Requirements For Salesforce Developer

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in Salesforce platform
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I certification
  • Experience with flows for Salesforce automation
  • Experience with Salesforce CLI, Github, sandbox environments
  • Strong experience in Salesforce development environments
  • Experience with REST-based web services
  • Strong collaborative skills
  • Ability to work in-person in Atlanta, Chicago, or Newark
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
