Senior Full Stack Engineer

Bree is a financial technology company creating best-in-class lending products for consumers and businesses. Our consumer business serves everyday Canadians overlooked or underserved by legacy financial institutions. We are building a suite of financial products that is friendlier, more intuitive, more helpful and lower-cost than existing solutions.

Founded in 2021, Bree has raised more than $2 million in funding from world-class technology investors including Y Combinator, Global Founders Capital, and other top-tier angel investors including executives and founders of Meta (Facebook) and Forge Global. We have grown 30x in the last year to 7 figures of annualized revenue.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will:

• Take ownership of large, ambiguous, and challenging projects and products
• Work on cutting-edge lending technology
• Have extreme ownership over major features and products
• Take significant responsibility and autonomy in building our platform

We're looking for someone who:

• Has 3+ years of full-stack engineering experience
• Is familiar with TypeScript, React Native, React, and Node.js
• Has strong backend experience and passion for clean code
• Can balance tradeoffs between robustness and speed
• Has an entrepreneurial spirit and is comfortable with ambiguity
• Is low ego, intelligent, quick to learn, and willing to tackle any task
