PCIe/CXL Product Applications Engineer

Broadcom is seeking a PCIe/CXL Product Applications Engineer to join their team. This role involves deploying PCIe retimers across Broadcom customers and providing technical leadership to resolve challenges with leading-edge PCIe products. The ideal candidate will have expertise in PCIe standards, SerDes electrical compliance, and protocol functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership to Broadcom customers
• Resolve technical challenges with PCIe product deployment
• Engage with leading customers both on-site and remotely
• Debug and articulate methodical approaches to resolving issues

Requirements:

• Proficiency in PCIe standards (Gen5 or above): electrical, physical layer, data link layer, and transaction layer
• Knowledge of SerDes key blocks and physical layer components
• Exceptional debug skills
• Fluency in Python programming language, working knowledge of C
• Experience with PCB schematic and layout design
• Extensive lab experience with high-performance test equipment
• Knowledge of Data Center architecture
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 12+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 10+ years of experience
