R&D Hardware Engineer

Broadcom, a global technology leader in semiconductor and infrastructure software solutions, is seeking an R&D Hardware Engineer for their Penang, Malaysia location. This full-time role is perfect for experienced engineers looking to contribute to cutting-edge product development.

As an R&D Hardware Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of new product performance, working on yield enhancement and quality improvement for NPI products. Your responsibilities will include developing experiments to ensure product performance, defining functional test specifications, and collaborating with the test development team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and providing technical support for new product performance
• Developing product yield enhancement and quality improvement strategies
• Creating approaches to fulfill product performance tests, covering corner cases
• Defining product functional test specifications for production
• Analyzing data and using various problem-solving methodologies
• Providing timely and accurate reporting on product performance metrics
• Supporting failure analysis to improve product stability and yield
• Modifying test programs, product firmware, or application programs as needed

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in product performance testing and yield enhancement
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
