Responsibilities For R&D Systems Application Engineer
- Analyze, debug, and root cause issues found within Broadcom's PCIe/SAS/SATA products
- Provide guidance to OEM and Cloud customers on product integration
- Develop product documentation
- Develop professional relationships with industry partners
- Train Field Applications Engineers, Sales Engineers, and support staff
- Develop tools and processes to improve debug efficiency
- Occasional international travel
Requirements For R&D Systems Application Engineer
- Experience with firmware, software, hardware and protocol level debug
- Experience developing and debugging C/C++ code
- Prior experience in embedded software debug or development
- Skilled in organizing information
- Self-motivated and strong self-driven learner
- Good written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple parallel tasks
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering or related field and 12+ years of experience or Masters Degree with 10+ years experience
