This role combines advanced software engineering with power integrity solutions, requiring expertise in both technical computing and electrical engineering concepts. Responsibilities For Lead Software Engineer (Power Integrity, Simulation & Numerical Analysis)

  • Develop novel algorithms and tools to improve runtime/capacity of Voltus simulation engine and infrastructure
  • Research and develop new capability to solve upcoming power signoff challenges
  • Collaborate with cross-functional R&D teams to define requirements and create software solutions
  • Analyze customer requirements in a fast-evolving market and deliver innovative solutions
  • Troubleshoot and provide efficient support to solve customer issues

Requirements For Lead Software Engineer (Power Integrity, Simulation & Numerical Analysis)

  • PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Computer Engineering, or other closely related field
  • In-depth understanding of power grid integrity modeling and simulation
  • Strong numerical analysis background
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++ with deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and multi-threaded programming
  • Good communication skills with a desire to learn and deliver
  • Ability to complete high quality work on time
