Software Engineer, Web

Captions is the AI-powered creative studio empowering millions of creators worldwide to make their video content stand out. Based in NYC, we're a team of ambitious, experienced, and devoted engineers, designers, and marketers. You'll join an early team with an outsized impact on both product and company culture.

As a Software Engineer, Web, you will:

• Deliver high-performance user experiences shaping the future of video software
• Collaborate with Product Designers to conceptualize and ship incredible experiences
• Stay updated with latest web technologies and apply them to improve development and drive innovation
• Manage the product process from requirements gathering to maintenance

Requirements:

• 7+ years of software development experience
• Strong product sense and technical expertise
• Fluency with mainstream frontend and server-side frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, Svelte, ExpressJS, etc)
• Bonus: Experience or willingness to learn WebGL, WASM, Electron
