Description For Senior Systems Engineer

Captivation Software is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to lead their Cyber Sustainment Team. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on system administration, requiring a professional who can both manage a distributed team and maintain critical systems. The position demands extensive experience in Linux systems and security infrastructure, backed by high-level security clearance requirements.

The ideal candidate will bring 18-24 years of systems engineering experience, depending on education level, and must already possess a Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph. Requirements For Senior Systems Engineer

  • Must hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field plus 20 years experience, OR
  • High School Diploma/GED plus 24 years experience, OR
  • Master's degree in Engineering plus 18 years experience
  • IAT Level II Certification
  • Very strong Linux (Red Hat/Rocky, CentOS) experience
  • LatteArt for SSP, STE/STN support
