Responsibilities For Senior Systems-VoIP Engineer
- Manage company's IT systems infrastructure and VoIP services
- Monitor system requirements and communicate with executives
- Support new technologies implementation within systems environment
- Research hardware and software technologies for capabilities and cost-benefits
- Coordinate with engineers for effective solutions design
- Ensure security platforms and devices compliance
- Organize and monitor installed systems and infrastructure
- Support users with hardware/software problems
- Administer/support VoIP infrastructure
- Provide technical support and training for VoIP systems
- Work with telecom providers and vendors
- Create PowerShell scripts for file manipulation and procedures
Requirements For Senior Systems-VoIP Engineer
- BSc in Computer Science/Information Technology/Electrical & Computer Engineer or relevant studies
- 4 to 6 years of relevant working experience in IT department
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft cloud services
- Knowledge of VMware Vcenter, Windows Server 2016 and newer
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, QoS, NAT, firewalls, and VPNs
- In-depth knowledge of VoIP protocols like SIP, RTP, and codecs
- Experience with PBX systems and SIP trunking configuration
- Knowledge of VoIP security practices including SRTP, TLS, and securing SIP
- Database knowledge and experience (advantage)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Time management skills and ability to multi-task
