Software Engineer, Growth

Character.AI, founded in 2021 by AI pioneers Noam Shazeer and Daniel De Freitas, is seeking a Software Engineer for their Growth Team. This role is crucial in achieving the company's goal of building a humanity-scale product with billions of users.

As a Software Engineer on the Growth Team, you will:

• Implement new features to improve user acquisition, onboarding, and retention
• Run and analyze A/B experiments to test the impact of new features
• Participate in brainstorming experiment ideas

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing experiences that deliver on the mission to give everyone access to AGI
• Bringing Character.AI to millions of new users globally
• Contributing to data-driven product engineering for a consumer product

Requirements:

• 5+ years of software development experience
• Experience working on Growth engineering teams or data-driven product engineering teams for a consumer product

Nice to have:

• Experience with React
