Join Cisco's Common Hardware Group (CHG) as an ASIC Verification Engineer, where you'll be part of a team delivering silicon, optics, and hardware platforms for Cisco's core Switching, Routing, and Wireless products. With approximately 2,100 employees across 16 countries, CHG designs networking hardware for enterprises, service providers, public sector, and non-profit organizations worldwide.
You'll work on Cisco Silicon One, the industry's only unifying silicon architecture enabling best-of-breed silicon deployment from Top of Rack switches through web-scale data centers and across service provider networks. This role involves collaborating with front-end RTL Design and Verification teams, architects, and SDK/Software teams to ensure seamless hardware-software integration.
As an ASIC Verification Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing verification environments, creating and executing test plans, and performing complex debugging tasks. Responsibilities For ASIC Verification Engineer
- Participate in ASIC design verification for Cisco high-end switching Products
- Use microarchitecture and define verification plans
- Develop verification environment, create and execute test plans
- Perform debugging as necessary
- Develop simulation models, test plans, code coverage, multi-chip/system simulation
- Conduct performance analysis
- Work with front-end RTL Design and Verification teams
- Collaborate with SDK and Software teams for hardware-software integration
Requirements For ASIC Verification Engineer
- BSEE/CS combined with 4+ years of related experience
- 4+ Years post graduate hands on experience with System Verilog / UVM programming
- 4+ Years post graduate ASIC Verification processes, methodologies, flows and tools
- Experience with scripting languages Python or Perl
- Previous experience in debugging
- Experience working on Linux / Unix
