Responsibilities For Data Center Network Consulting Engineer - (Cisco ACI, Nexus 2K/5K/7K/9K ) 5-8 years
- Drive technology design, implementation, execution, and/or optimization for projects/accounts to accelerate customer outcomes
- Assist customers with integration and implementation of tools, systems, and service assurance for Cisco technologies
- Support presale activities and translate business requirements into solution design
- Build customer simulations in test labs to resolve/validate issues
- Build and deliver customer collateral, documentation, and knowledge transfer
- Drive customer technology transitions, influencing solution architectures and services
- Align with and support company policies and processes and utilize relevant tools to efficiently execute the role
- Play the role of an individual contributor
Requirements For Data Center Network Consulting Engineer - (Cisco ACI, Nexus 2K/5K/7K/9K ) 5-8 years
- BS/BE/BTech degree or equivalent with 6+ years of experience in a similar job role
- Data Centre related certification (CCNP, CCIE, VCP, etc.) is helpful
- Deep technical knowledge of L2 / L3 networking protocols and technologies (VPC, STP, HSRP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP)
- Strong Nexus 2K/5K/7K/9K platform knowledge and hands-on experience
- Basic knowledge of overlay technologies VXLAN, BGP EVPN, OTV, LISP
- Knowledge of Cisco SDN based technologies such as Cisco ACI, Cisco Programmable Network Portfolio (Standalone VXLAN-Fabric) and DCNM
- Experience in design and/or deployment of Data Center solutions including traditional DC standalone Nexus design, VXLAN Fabric-based ACI Fabric solutions using ACI MultiPod / Multisite Fabric architectures
- Hands-on experience with computing, virtualization, and container environments (Cisco UCS, Hyperflex, VMware, Microsoft, Kubernetes)
