Software Engineer, Management Plane--Hypershield

Cisco is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Security Innovation team working on Cisco Hypershield, a highly available distributed security fabric. As part of the Security Business Group, you'll be working on cloud-delivered firewall, Web proxy, Zero Trust Proxy, and NaaS integrations. The role focuses on the management plane, which acts as the brains of Hypershield.

The position involves developing novel features for onboarding, managing, monitoring, and securing customer assets, including working with AI-generated security policies. You'll collaborate closely with the chief architect to review existing technologies, drive improvements, and create groundbreaking new solutions from scratch. The role requires strong backend development skills, particularly in TypeScript, Golang, and NodeJS.
