Solutions Engineer - Assurance & Automation - German speaking

Cisco is seeking a Solutions Engineer specializing in Assurance & Automation to join their EMEA Internet & Mass-Scale Infrastructure team. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on expertise, focusing on designing and implementing cutting-edge, AI-ready software-defined infrastructures for next-generation service provider networks. The position requires deep expertise in networking and automation, with the ability to engage effectively at both technical and business levels.

As a Solutions Engineer, you'll collaborate with account teams, fellow engineers, and customers to define and deliver innovative solutions in assurance, automation, switching, routing, optical, and SDN. You'll serve as a trusted advisor for customers and contribute thought leadership to the industry, helping maintain Cisco's leadership in the service provider market.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of experience in networking and automation, with strong knowledge of protocols and technologies including routing, switching, MEF, MPLS, and SDN. Proficiency in both English and German is required, along with willingness to travel up to 50%.
