Description For Technical Lead Engineer – Build Infrastructure, CI and Developer Enablement

Cisco Intersight is seeking a Technical Lead Engineer to join their Build and CI Team, focusing on build infrastructure and developer enablement. This role is crucial in maintaining and enhancing development pipelines that support over 300 engineers. The position combines technical leadership with hands-on development, requiring expertise in build systems, CI/CD, and cloud technologies.

The role involves working with Cisco Intersight, a cloud-based system management platform that enables IT organizations to analyze, simplify, and automate their environments. As a technical leader, you'll be responsible for designing and maintaining robust build systems, troubleshooting complex issues, and implementing new tools to improve developer productivity.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience with programming languages like Python, Java, or Golang, along with expertise in Git, Linux environments, and cloud-native applications. Knowledge of Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and infrastructure as code tools is highly valued. The position requires a bachelor's degree in STEM with 8+ years of experience (or equivalent advanced degrees with less experience).
